The file format for all Chameleon Company Avatars is in JPG format. This allows the files to be compatible with a wide range of Palm OS programs. But it also means that the files do not install automatically by double-clicking on them on your PC or Mac. The JPGs need to be transfered to your device by copying them onto a removeable storage device. You also may be able to use Hotsync but it is important that you know where the files will end up so that you can locate them later. These files need to be installed and used by following these simple procedures:

PALM OS CONTACTS (Available on the PalmOne LifeDrive and the newest Palm OS Handhelds)

LifeDrive Installation: Put the Avatar JPGs into the Photos&Videos folder on your LifeDrive

Open a contact -> click edit -> click picture and add the avatar image

Open a contact -> click on edit -> click picture to add the avatar image

CONTACTS 5 Photo Edition

Open a contact -> click to edit -> In the upper left corner next to the menu at the top is an icon for a picture with an arrow -> click this -> choose the avatar to install
