HOW DO I INSTALL AND USE AVATARS?

PALM OS CONTACTS (Available on the PalmOne LifeDrive and the newest Palm OS Handhelds)

LifeDrive Installation: Put the Avatar JPGs into the Photos&Videos folder on your LifeDrive

Open a contact -> click edit -> click picture and add the avatar image

Open a contact -> click on edit -> click picture to add the avatar image

CONTACTS 5 Photo Edition

Open a contact -> click to edit -> In the upper left corner next to the menu at the top is an icon for a picture with an arrow -> click this -> choose the avatar to install

**** PLEASE NOTE: Avatars come in both large and small sizes. Some applications may not be compatible with the smaller sizes and you will need to use the larger size.****

To associate a picture with a Contact
All handhelds
1. Launch the Contacts application.
2. Tap on the person's name to bring up their information.
3. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Edit button.
4. In the Edit view, tap on the Picture icon to add a photo.
5. Choose a method for associating a photo:
If you already have a picture of that person, choose Photos from the popup menu and pick their picture from the list. (for camera devices only) If you want to capture their image right now, choose Camera and click a snapshot with the built-in camera.
6. Now, when you view that person's contact information, their picture will display.
